The Volvo S60 Luxury Sedan Makes it’s Comeback for 2011!

Introducing the All-New 2011 Naughty Volvo S60

Vehicle Overview: After sitting a year out, Volvo’s S60 luxury sedan comes back in a new redesigned form for 2011. In line with all-new exterior and interior styling, the S60 featuring a Brand Spankin new 300-horsepower turbocharged six-cylinder.This Even has all-wheel drive! Competitors: the Cadillac CTS, Infiniti G37x and Acura TL.

Exterior: The redesign of the S60 is the latest Volvo to maintain the brand from its  boxlike designs of old. Overall, the S60’s appressed stance, smooth along the lines and a low roof-line makes for a very stylish luxury car. Comes standard with Eighteen-inch alloy wheels, but smaller 17-inch rims are also available. The Premium Package Accommodates a power moon-roof and adaptive xenon headlights.

Interior :The S60 has Enough room for five on front bucket seats, also with a 60/40-split folding backseat. The seats can be finalized in a rich brown leather (Beechwood Brown) that you don’t see that often. The front passenger seat also folds down flat to make it easier to carry items that have some length. The S60 also features Volvo’s floating center control panel, you can get it finished in aluminum or wood.

StandardFeatures: Automatic climate control, cruise control, heated side mirrors, Bluetooth cell phone connectivity and a great CD stereo that comes with auxiliary and USB ports. Available features also include rain-sensing windshield wipers, a navigation system and a premium audio system with and even comes with a DVD player so you and your family can (listen) for you drivers and (Watch) for the family.

Under the Hood: At the launch, the S60 to be powered by a 300-hp, turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six-cylinder, but some more engines could be offered in the future. This engine connects with a six-speed automatic transmission and drives all four wheels through the S60’s all-wheel-drive system. Volvo’s Four-C adaptive suspension is totally optional.

Standard safety features: Antilock brakes, side-impact airbags for the front seats, side curtain airbags, an electronic stability system and active front head restraints. For the City: Volvo’s system designed to downsize the severity or prevent altogether a rear-end collision with another vehicle, this is also standard.

Along the same lines as City Safety is the optional Collision Warning with Full Auto Brake, which can prevent collisions where the difference in speed is 22 mph or less — including ones where a pedestrian is involved. Additional options include Lane Departure Warning, a blind-spot monitoring system, and front and rear parking sensors.
