The Volkswagen 2011 CONFIRMED Model line up

CONFIRMED VW MODELS FOR 2011:

CC: Bluetooth and an iPod adapter is now standard, but rear seat airbags are no longer available and V6 models are no longer available with front-wheel-drive. The model lineup has been changed to Sport, Lux, Lux Plus, Lux Limited, and VR6 4Motion Executive.

GTI: The GTI, introduced last year in a single version, now offers more choices. The base-model GTI gets all the same features as the 2010 GTI plus Bluetooth phone connectivity, new wheels, and an updated stereo but no steering wheel audio controls. The Sunroof Package adds a sunroof (surprise!) along with a nicer stereo and steering-wheel audio, while the Sunroof and Navigation Package gets all of the above plus nav and Xenon headlights. Topping out the range is the GTI Autobahn, with everything in the Sunroof and Nav package plus unique seats and a “Dynaudio Lite” stereo. Rear seat airbags are no longer available.

JETTA: The Jetta is all new for 2011. The new Jetta has a roomier back seat and a lower price ($16,765), the idea being to make the Jetta more appealing to Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic buyers. Lowering the price has meant simplifying the rear suspension and interior trim and re-introducing the 115 horsepower 2-liter 4-cylinder engine. The 2.5 liter 5-cylinder and 2-liter TDI turbodiesel are also on offer. The sporty GLI model returns with the 200 hp turbo engine, upgraded cabin, and multi-link

JETTA SPORTWAGEN: The 2011 Jetta SportWagen continues on the same platform as the old-shape Jetta. All models get Bluetooth phone connectivity as standard, and the optional navigation system has been updated. S models get a new stereo, and SE models now include steering wheel audio and phone controls.
